Pretty darn good day in Denver if you ask me!
I had an ambitious plan for my first day of re-discovering Denver and when I looked it over the night before I wondered if maybe I wasn’t trying to do too much. But I sallied forth and had a big satisfying day of finding new places to love and falling in love with familiar places all over again.
My day started mid morning with a tea at Gypsy tea house, a funky little place in the middle of Capitol Hill. The Gypsy house is becoming a mecca of art and culture for this pocket of Cap Hill, with their open mic nights and performance art space in the basement. The atmosphere is inviting and I could have easily just spent the day sitting on the couch and watched the world go by. But then I would have missed out on some amazing art.
